 SHL Weekly Recap – June 3–8, 2025
Opening Week Sets the Tone Across All Divisions!
The Shoreline Hockey League kicked off its 2025 summer season with comebacks, sweeps, standout rookie debuts—and no shortage of highlight-reel performances.


 Pro Division

  • June 3: The Pro Maple Leafs staged a comeback win over the Bruins, closing it out 4-3 in a tight battle.

  • June 4: The Pro Black Hawks joined the party with a second-half surge to edge the Red Wings 6-4.
    Notable Performers: Tucker Tackaberry (#7) netted 4 goals to lead the Pro Hawks on the scoresheet, while goaltending stood tall across the board.


 All Star Division

  • June 3: The All Star Maple Leafs rallied from a first-period deficit to defeat the Bruins 5-3.

  • June 4: The All Star Black Hawks followed suit, erasing a 2-0 Red Wings lead with 4 straight goals for the win.
    Between the Pipes: Fitzgerald Moss (#30) was lights out with 26 saves and now leads the league in save percentage.


 Elite Division

  • June 3: The Elite Maple Leafs overpowered a short-benched Bruins squad in a 9-3 rout.

  • June 4: A wild back-and-forth saw the Elite Black Hawks and Red Wings combine for 17 goals, with the Hawks eventually sealing a 10-7 victory.
    Top Stars: Caleb McConnell (#55) opened the week with 4G, 2A. Ryerson Mink (#13) and Hank Willis (#98) exploded for a combined 6G, 9P on June 4.


 Rookie Division Debut – June 8
The future of SHL took the ice—and impressed!

  • Game 1: The Rookie Bruins edged the Leafs 2-1 in a goaltending duel. Trinity Marshall (#1, Bruins) and Henry Dunlop (#1, Leafs) both posted league-leading save percentages.

  • Game 2: The Rookie Black Hawks continued the Hawks’ week-long dominance with a convincing 5-1 win over the Red Wings.
    Foundation of SHL: The Rookie Division is where it all begins, building skills, confidence, and passion for the game.


 Weekly Shoutouts:

  • Scorer of the Week: Caleb McConnell (#55, Elite Leafs) – 6-point night to open the season

  • Performance Pair: Ryerson Mink & Hank Willis (Elite Hawks) – 6G, 9P combined

  • Goalie Highlights: Fitzgerald Moss (#30, All Star Hawks), Trinity Marshall (#1, Rookie Bruins), and Henry Dunlop (#1, Rookie Leafs) all delivered elite saves under pressure

  • Girl Grit: Kate Martin, Mavis Hervieux and Trinity Marshall made their mark with gritty, game-changing efforts


 It’s been a huge start to the SHL season—rivalries are forming, rookies are rising, and the tempo is set for a big summer of hockey.
